A leading environmental consultancy is seeking a Coordinator to strengthen their SHEQ team in Peterborough. This role involves managing environmental and consenting risks from project feasibility through to construction, ensuring all necessary permits and licenses are in place. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and experience with GIS tools. We are looking to strengthen our SHEQ team with a Coordinator who will work within the Enabling team based at Peterborough, Anglian Water Region with hybrid working available.
As an coordinator within the Enabling team, you’ll take the lead in identifying, assessing and managing environmental and consenting risks across a diverse range of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
Working from early feasibility through to construction completion, you’ll ensure that all necessary consents, permits and licences are in place – enabling smooth project progression and embedding a “Right First Time” approach. By integrating environmental and planning considerations from the outset, you’ll help reduce risk, minimise delays, and safeguard both project delivery and Anglian Water’s reputation for responsible development.
You’ll work closely with design, engineering, and construction teams as well as regulators, land agents, local authorities and environmental specialists. This is a highly collaborative role that combines technical expertise, risk management and stakeholder engagement to deliver lasting positive outcomes.
