DSV Deep Science Ventures is seeking an entrepreneurial founder-in-residence to co-found and spin out a new venture focused on targeted, non-toxic pest control. You will work with the Grantham Foundation and the DSV teams to refine scope, recruit advisory and co-founders, and pursue seed funding to launch the new company.

The role is full-time and remote initially until incorporation (circa end of Q1 2027), location TBD, with substantial equity and ongoing post-spinout support from DS Ventures

Qualifications

• Previous Founder experience (essential).
• Previous C‑suite experience (essential).
• Fundraising experience with VCs (essential).
• Commercial and BD expertise (licensing, partnerships, collaborations).
• Strong track record of building and leading teams.

Responsabilités

• Found and spin out a new venture within the DS Venture Creation framework.
• Lead fundraising and investor relations for pre-seed/inception.
• Define strategy across R&D, product, regulatory, IP and partnerships.
• Mentor and recruit advisory/co‑founding team members.
• Drive rapid, de-risked path to Series A and to spin-out.
