Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions are seeking 2 x experienced CNC Setter/Operators for an established manufacturing business in Wellingborough. This permanent, full-time role offers early and back shift patterns with salary negotiable DOE.

You will set up, program and operate CNC waterjet cutting machinery, read technical drawings and job specs, monitor performance and adjust settings to optimise cutting quality, efficiency and material utilisation, carry out first-off and in-process inspections, and

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Setter/Operator in manufacturing.
• Waterjet cutting experience desirable.
• Reading technical drawings and CAD files.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate CNC waterjet cutting machinery.
• Configure machines to meet production requirements.
• Read and interpret drawings and job specs.
• Monitor performance and optimize quality and efficiency.
• Carry out first-off and in-process inspections.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement and waste reduction.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment.
