Job summary

DK Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Precision Turner for a large manufacturing operation in the UK. You will set, program and maintain CNC lathes, interpreting complex drawings and specifications to produce parts to tight tolerances.

The role includes first-off inspection, tool selection, and supporting lean initiatives. Candidate should have at least 5 years of turning experience, be apprentice-trained, and be familiar with Doosan, Tornos, Dahlih, Mazak or STARR machines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Turner in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• A minimum of 5 years experience turning and/or apprentice trained.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Competent in using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Set a variety of Turning machines/Programs.
• Working on a rotation shift - 0600-1400 & 1400-2200 Monday to Friday.
