Overview

Mazco Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a precision engineering company in Watford to recruit a CNC Turner Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled CNC Turner looking to step into a leadership role and oversee a small team within a busy machine shop.

The Role

• Lead a team of CNC Turners, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Program, set, and operate CNC lathes - experience with Celos DMG Mori machines highly beneficial.
• Contribute to the development of efficient machining processes.
• Support continuous improvement and ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Work closely with production management to deliver projects on time.

The Candidate

• Experienced CNC Turner, confident in programming, setting, and operating.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM programming preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to improve processes.
• A natural leader with good people skills, able to motivate and mentor others.
• Ideal for a senior turner ready to progress into a Section/Team Leader role.

• Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
