Overview

JRS Associates partnered with a precision engineering company in Blackburn to recruit a skilled CNC Turner - Setter, Operator, Programmer. You will work on modern Fanuc‑controlled lathes producing precision components to tight tolerances across a range of materials for aerospace and high‑value manufacturing.

Package
  • Salary: £36,600 - £38,650 per annum
  • Hours: Rotating shifts – Mon‑Thu 6am‑2.30pm, Fri 6am‑1.30pm & Mon‑Thu 2pm‑10.30pm, Fri 11.30am‑7pm
  • Holidays: 26 days + bank holidays
  • Sick pay scheme (after 6 months)
  • Statutory pension
Requirements
  • Experienced CNC Turner - Setter, Operator, and Programmer
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls (other control experience considered)
  • Confident programming from scratch and editing at the machine
  • Able to work with a variety of materials (stainless, aluminium, titanium, etc.)
  • Skilled at setting, operating, and maintaining lathes to achieve high standards
  • Must have previous CNC turning experience – not a trainee position
