CNC Turner Setter Operator – FANUC / HAAS – Milton Keynes – Precision Engineering – Permanent – Competitive Salary + Benefits.

Actio Recruitment is working in partnership with a respected precision engineer in Milton Keynes to recruit an experienced CNC Turner. This is a hands-on role for a skilled machinist with a strong background in CNC operations and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce complex precision components to exacting tolerances and specifications.
• Interpret CAD drawings and set up machining processes accordingly.
• Perform tooling changes and adjustments to optimise machining performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure machines operate at peak efficiency.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production cycle.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with company standards.

Candidate Profile

• Proven proficiency in FANUC / HAAS controls.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Confident in using mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Manual turning experience beneficial but not essential.
• Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
