Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner with expertise in Fanuc setting/operating to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision components to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
  • Manufacturing precision components from various materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminium, and plastics.
  • Conducting first-off inspections using precision measuring tools such as verniers, thread gauges, and micrometers.
  • Ensuring consistent quality and adherence to tight tolerances.
  • Managing prototype and batch production efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner a precision engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc language and ability to program from scratch.
  • Experience working with CNC lathes.
  • Ability to set up and reset machines multiple times per day.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
  • A proactive and reliable work ethic, with the ability to manage multiple machines simultaneously.

Day Shift
39-hour working week
