CNC Turner

Permanent Role, £16p/hr to £17p/hr DOE, 40hrs per week, Mon-Fri, 25 days holiday

YEADON

Are you an experienced CNC Turner/Programmer looking for a new role? If so, I am looking for you to work for my client, a busy and growing Precision Engineering firm based near to Yeadon, Leeds.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to Program, Set, Edit and Operate
  • Experience and knowledge of Siemens controls would be ideal, however if you have Fanuc, Mazatrol or Mazak controls experience and want to be trained on Siemens controls, then do apply
  • Knowledge of Siemens ShopTurn would be advantageous
  • Good experience of Sub-Contract work
  • Knowledge of machining Stainless and Mild Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper, Bronze & Plastic
  • Machining bespoke small to medium batch size components (5 s to 200 s)
  • CNC Milling experience would be beneficial
  • Ability to use measuring equipment such as Verniers and Micrometres
Responsibilities
  • Programming, setting and operating CNCs to produce accurate, quality components on time
  • Effective and efficient use of all materials and tooling
  • Managing your work schedule
  • Self inspecting all manufactured components
  • Adhering to all Quality and H&S Standards

You will be contracted to 40hrs per week working Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4.30pm with an 11am finish on a Friday. The starting Pay Rate for the role is experience dependant ranging between £16p/hr up to £17p/hr. Overtime is available during busy periods throughout the week.
