Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer 2,3 axis - Fanuc - Haas
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Oldham
Salary: £40k - £45k
Overtime Widely Available all at x1.5 x2
Shift: Days 7:45 - 4:30pm

About the Role

Designing, manufacturing, and building precision components for the defence sector, our client are leaders in their industry. Backed by a global organization, we are now seeking new and experienced CNC Turner/Millers to join the business.

Responsibilities

• Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Fanuc Control
• Load tooling with correct offsets
• Upload Programs
• Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards

Ideal Candidate

• Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Turning machines using Fanuc, Haas or Mazatrol controls
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ideally having an engineering apprenticeship, however, experience is the overriding factor
• Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business
• Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team
• Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances
• Professional and self-motivated attitude
• Good organisational & time management skills
