Overview

CNC Turner (Fanuc Programmer). Salary £36,000 - £39,000 + Training + Days Based + Monday to Friday + Overtime + Company Benefits. Location: Skelmersdale.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program (Fanuc) and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and machine to tight tolerances.
• Perform first-off and in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment.
• Work with materials such as stainless steel, Inconel, duplex, and other high-performance alloys.
• Maintain quality and efficiency on a variety of complex components; ensure part quality through final inspection.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Setter / Operator.
• Strong Fanuc programming and editing skills.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Experience setting, programming and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
• Manufacture of precision components to tight tolerances from technical drawings.
• Experience with first-off and in-process inspection; familiarity with standard measuring equipment.
• Experience working with stainless steel, Inconel, duplex, etc.
