Job summary

A prominent recruitment agency seeks a skilled CNC Turner for manufacturing clients in the Bristol area. You'll be responsible for programming and operating CNC lathes, ensuring production of high-quality parts. The ideal candidate has experience with twin spindle and multi-axis lathes, preferably with Citizen Miyano machines. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £40,885 and various benefits including pension and annual leave.

The Role:
  • Programming, setting up and operating CNC lathes
  • Installing workpieces, fixtures and cutting tools
  • Production of high-quality detail parts
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Adherence to health and safety protocols
  • Adherence to specifications and quality standards
About you:
  • Experience with twin spindle, multi-axis Lathes
  • Experienced with programming, setting, operating Twin spindle, Multi Axis CNC lathes / Turning Machine
  • Experience with Citizen Miyano machines is very desirable
  • Experience with Fanuc Controls
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Ability to resolve common CNC machine issues (tooling problems etc)
  • Experience using measuring equipment
The Benefits:
  • Up to £21.25p/h including shift premium (£40,885)
  • Double days
  • Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, Fridays 6 - 11, 11am - 4pm
  • Overtime at time and a half
  • Company Pension
  • 25 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
