Position: CNC Turner

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

The successful CNC Turner will work as part of a skilled production team to manufacture high-quality, precision-engineered components to detailed specifications. This role involves working to strict production timeframes and tight tolerances while handling components of various sizes for the Oil & Gas, Aerospace, and Industrial Bronze industries.

CNC Turner Job Overview
  • Set, operate, and programme CNC Turning and Mill‑Turn machines to produce high-quality components as detailed in works order documentation.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and production colleagues to meet agreed manufacturing timescales.
  • Perform any additional reasonable duties requested by the company.
  • Adhere to and enforce all Health & Safety legislation and company safety standards.
  • Comply with all required security standards mandated by the company and its customers.
  • Complete all required production, quality, and administrative paperwork.
CNC Turner Job Requirements
  • Proficient in setting, operating, and programming CNC Turning and multi‑axis machinery.
  • Strong understanding of fixtures, speeds and feeds, tooling, safety practices, and machine control systems.
  • Experience with FANUC, Okuma QSP‑200L, ISO, and/or Mazatrol programming (preferred).
  • Experience with live tooling operations.
  • Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles.
  • CMM inspection and measurement experience is advantageous.
  • Advanced CAD/CAM knowledge, ideally SolidWorks and hyperMill.
CNC Turner Salary & Benefits
  • Permanent position.
  • Salary - £35,000 to £43,000 (DOE).
  • Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm – 37.5 hour week.
