Job description

Mazco Recruitment is working closely with a long-established precision engineering company in Southall to recruit an experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist to join a modern, well-equipped workshop producing high-precision components across multiple sectors.

The Role

You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled Doosan twin-spindle CNC lathes, working up to 6-axis. The position requires the ability to take jobs from technical drawing through to finished, inspected components with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled Doosan CNC turning centres (twin spindle, up to 6 axis)
• Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Select tooling, set offsets and make necessary adjustments
• Inspect finished components using standard measuring equipment
• Work collaboratively within a skilled machining team

Desirable Experience

• Experience using EdgeCAM
• Programming/setting/operating Mazak Integrex machines
• Exposure to Hypermill CAM software
• Background in multi-axis machining

Shift & Pay

• Day shift
• £20.00 - £25.00 per hour, depending on experience
