Overview

Role: CNC Turner
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £33,000-£39,000 per annum (£16-£18.50 per hour) + overtime
Hours: 7:30-16:30 Monday to Thursday / 13:30 finish Friday
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Package

• £33,000-£39,000 salary dependent of experience / £16-£18.50 per hour
• 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays – extra day earned for every year worked (up to 25 days)
• Overtime available at 1.33x midweek, 1.5x Saturday and 2x Sundays

• Ongoing commitment to training and progression – training with online and offline programming for the right candidate

The Role

• Responsible for manufacturing precise components to tight tolerances for the Motorsport, Aerospace, Petrochemical and Medical industries
• Work from engineering drawings to set and operate Hardinge and Haas CNC Turning machinery, using Fanuc controls
• You will program the Hardinge and Haas machinery, both offline and online programming (training will be provided)
• You will be using Fanuc controls on the above machines

The Requirements

• Must be able to work from engineering drawings to set and operate CNC Turning machines with Hardinge / Haas & Fanuc controls (essential)
• At least two years’ experience in a similar role (essential)
• You will be able to work with a variety of materials and preferably will have experience in either the Motorsport or aerospace industries (advantageous)
• Must be able to work well as a team and equally without supervision on CNC machining centres.
