About the Role

Mazco Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a precision engineering company based in Newport Pagnell. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist to work with high-quality materials, producing complex precision components across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components to drawing specifications and tolerances
• Interpret CAD drawings to set up and run machining processes effectively
• Perform tooling changes and make necessary adjustments for production efficiency
• Carry out routine maintenance to ensure machines are operating at peak performance
• Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout production
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, following all safety protocols

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in CNC turning (minimum 3 years)
• Proficient in operating FANUC and HAAS controls
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files
• Good understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining principles
• Excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills
• Strong mathematical ability for precision measurements and calculations
• Effective communication skills - both verbal and written
• A positive, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
• Manual turning experience beneficial
