Job summary

Precision Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our well-equipped machine shop in Darlington. You will programme, set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components to customer specifications.

You will read engineering drawings, select tooling, and perform first-off inspections and in-process checks, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances while maintaining a clean, safe working environment. This full-time, permanent role offers £35,000-£40,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as CNC Turner or CNC Machinist/Programmer.
• Experience programming and setting CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.

The Role

As a CNC Turner, you'll be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision components to customer specifications. You'll work from engineering drawings, ensuring all parts meet the highest quality standards while maintaining efficient production.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens or Haas controls.
