Job description

CNC TURNER

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist to work for our client who is located in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A CNC MACHINIST

• Setting and operating CNC Turning machines
• Editing programmes
• Producing high precision work
• Reading engineering drawings
• Knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhein controls

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
• Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS

You will work on a weekly rotational shift of both days and late shifts.

Days - Monday-Thursday 6am – 2.50pm / Friday 6am – 12.30pm (5 shifts)

Lates - Monday – Wednesday 2pm-00.30am / Thursday 2pm-10.30pm (4 shifts)

THE PAY FOR A CNC PROGRAMMER

You will earn an hourly rate of between £15.38 per hour plus shift allowance (£18.46 per hour).
