Job summary

A precision engineering company in Harlow is seeking a CNC Turner Setter Operator. Responsibilities include editing programs and setting CNC Turning machines using Fanuc controls. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC Lathes and working to tight tolerances. Full training will be provided for those new to the sliding head machines. Competitive pay of £17.00 - £19.00 per hour with overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience editing programs, setting and operating CNC Lathes.
• Experience using Fanuc controls is ideal.
• Must have experience working to tight tolerances.
• Candidate ideally from a high precision background.

The Company

A medium precision engineering company based in Harlow are looking for a CNC Turner setter operator on Fanuc controls to join their team, we are fully prepared to tarin the right person on our sliding head lathes, full training given.

The Role

As a successful CNC Turner Setter operator you'll be responsible for editing programs and setting CNC Turning machines using Fanuc controls. You'll be working from engineering drawings to produce small to medium batch components.

Duties

• Edit Programs, Set and Operate CNC Lathes / sliding head machines, full training given - Fanuc controls
• Machining to tight tolerances and ensuring quality.

Requirements

• Previous experience editing programs, setting and operating CNC Lathes.
• Ideally the candidate has experience using Fanuc controls.
• Must have experience with working to tight tolerances.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Ideally come from a high precision background - aerospace, automotive, F1, oil & gas.
