CNC Turner

Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire

Salary: £15 - £18 p/h (DOE)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business in Droitwich. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating turning machines using Siemens controls. If you have strong turning experience and the ability to program offline, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career. Experience with 3+4 axis milling would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines as a skilled CNC Turner using Siemens controls
  • Produce precision components to tight tolerances across a range of materials
  • Perform offline programming for efficient production runs
  • Interpret engineering drawings and ensure all components meet specification requirements
  • Select and set up appropriate tooling and work‑holding devices
  • Conduct first‑off and in‑process quality inspections
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues promptly
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Collaborate effectively with both the production and engineering teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop
Requirements

  • Confident in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
