CNC Turner – Nightshift
£25 to £30 per hour

The Role of the CNC Turner

They’re looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in precision machining, the ability to program, set, and operate CNC lathes, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Turner
  • Program, set, and operate CNC lathes (Fanuc, Mazak, or similar controls).
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Work to tight tolerances ensuring all components meet quality standards.
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
  • Maintain machines and keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
Skills & Experience of the CNC Turner
  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering environment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Experience with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls (advantageous).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
