Overview

212 Recruitment is currently supporting a well established engineering company in their search for an experienced CNC Lathe Setter/Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team producing high quality components in small batch quantities.

Responsibilities
  • Set and operate CNC lathes with precision and efficiency
  • Program using conversational controls (Fanuc Guide i and Haas)
  • Manufacture small batch quantities (typically 1-20 off)
  • Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • Work in line with ISO quality standards
  • Use and interpret precision measuring and inspection equipment
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist with light assembly tasks when required
  • Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines
  • Utilise Fusion 360 for programming and design tasks
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in CNC turning
  • Proven ability as a CNC lathe setter/operator
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
  • Good work ethic and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
Working hours

Monday to Friday 8am-4pm + overtime
