CNC Turner/Programmer

· Permanent, Full-Time

· Monday-Friday: 8am – 4:30pm (3:30pm Early finish on Friday)

· Salary: up to £17p/h

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Programme/Setter & Operator on behalf of our client.

Your role as a CNC Turner, you will be tasked with machining precision bespoke products. You will need to be able to program, set & operate our CNC machinery to a high standard and complete all work to a high quality.

What you will be doing?

1. Programming, setting and operating several milling CNC machines.
2. Setting up CNC and setting correct tools to machine ready for production.
3. Making sure all machines are monitored and running smoothly.
4. Programming CNC machines to produce precision products.
5. Keeping record of accurate documentation of programming and machining finish times.
6. Completing routine maintenance checks on machines.

What you will need to succeed?

1. You must have proven experience in CNC programming – Minimum 3 years experience is essential.
2. Experience working on CNC Milling or Turning Lathe machines is essential.
3. Experience working with FANUC is essential.
4. Confident in your understanding of engineering drawings/Specs and able to work to close tolerances.
5. Keen eye for detail as your working focus will be on precision and high quality.
6. Excel in problem solving.
