A global engineering business is looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join their team in Bolton. The successful applicant will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC Lathes, along with ensuring high-quality standards. Ideally, candidates should be apprentice trained and have experience with Fanuc or Haas programming, with manual turning experience desired. This position offers a salary range of £36,000 - £40,000 per annum based on experience, with shift patterns from Monday to Thursday, 4 pm to 2 am.

Metalis are currently working with a global engineering business, who are looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join their team.

Job Duties

• Set, operate and program CNC Lathes
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Edit Fanuc G/M codes
• Carry out quality checks on machine parts and components
• Work on one‑offs through to large production runs
• Machining a wide range of engineering plastics
• Working in a cell of 5 people supported by apprentices

Job Requirements

• Apprentice trained
• Experience with Fanuc or Haas ISO programming
• Manual turning experience (desired)

Salary & Shift

• £36,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Monday to Thursday, 4 pm – 2 am (some flexibility is available)
• Overtime available and paid at 1.5×
