CNC Supervisor

Salary: £55,000 £60,000 per annum (inc shift uplift)

Shift Pattern: 7am 5pm, 7 days on / 7 days off

Location: Near Uxbridge

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are supporting a leading precision engineering manufacturer near Uxbridge who are seeking a CNC Supervisor to lead their Machine Shop team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards, and team performance are consistently achieved, while developing and motivating a team of skilled CNC machinists.

CNC Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervise CNC machining operations to meet production, quality, and output targets
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of machinists to maintain high performance and safe working practices
• Allocate workloads effectively to optimise machine and manpower utilisationResolve technical and operational issues to minimise downtime
• Oversee inspection, quality checks, and continuous improvement activities
• Conduct appraisals, manage performance, and maintain accurate production records
• Promote a positive, safety-first culture across the shop floor

CNC Supervisor Profile:

• Strong background in CNC machining (turning, milling, or precision engineering)
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a manufacturing environment
• Confident interpreting engineering drawings and inspection requirements
• Familiar with MRP/ERP systems (SAP experience advantageous)
• Methodical, proactive, and confident managing a team
