Overview

The CNC Supervisor will have extensive experience with 3 and 5 axis CNC machining and metal cutting and will oversee a team of 8-15 junior machinists and apprentices, providing mentorship and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and Mentoring
  • Oversee daily operations of the CNC machining team.
  • Mentor and provide hands-on training to junior machinists and apprentices.
  • Ensure team members adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
• CNC Machining
  • Operate and supervise the use of 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision metal parts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency.
• Quality Control
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure all products meet quality specifications.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes and standards.
• Operational Efficiency
  • Manage workflow to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
  • Optimize machine usage and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve production processes.
