CNC Sliding Head Machinist

The Collective Network is partnering with a leading manufacturer to recruit an experienced CNC Sliding Head Machinist for a permanent day‑shift position (39 hours, Monday to Thursday). This role offers the chance to join a forward‑thinking engineering team known for quality, innovation, and technical excellence.

What you'll do

You’ll set up and operate CNC Sliding Head machines to produce high‑precision components, ensuring every part meets exacting standards. You’ll read and edit CNC programs, interpret technical drawings (including GD&T), and carry out routine maintenance to keep machines running at peak performance. Collaboration with production, quality, and engineering teams will be key to achieving consistent efficiency and accuracy.

What we’re looking for

You’ll have proven CNC sliding head experience and a strong understanding of operating and editing existing programmes. Experience with Citizen machines is advantageous, as is a commitment to producing top‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment.
