Job summary

IMI plc Thompson Valves seeks a Setter Operator for night shift (Sun-Thu, 10:15pm-6am) to produce components to drawing tolerances. You will set up CNC Turn/Mill and Milling machines, read drawings, select tooling, and prove out programs to ensure production targets and quality standards.

Responsibilities include 1st off inspection, completing OEE data, and maintaining Lean principles and SHEF safety. Apprenticeship-trained candidates with CNC experience encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Read and understand engineering drawings and set-up sheets.
• Select tooling and holding devices; set up and document amendments.
• Prove out programs and manufacture to drawing specifications.
• Perform first-off inspection and complete OEE data sheets.
• Maintain Lean principles and SHEF safety in daily tasks.
