Job summary

Wild Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator for a Whitstable-based manufacturer. The role is permanent, with a competitive salary plus shift premium and benefits. You will join a busy team producing precision components on CNC multi-tasking lathes.

You will set and run machines, read drawings, inspect parts using measuring tools, and edit Fanuc programs. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Knowledge of 4-axis CNC machines and Fanuc controls.
• Able to read engineering drawings and use inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team player with a positive and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC lathes for small to medium batch production.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Inspect components using measuring equipment.
• Edit Fanuc-based programs.
• Carry out machine maintenance checks.
• Complete quality and traceability documentation.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
