Job summary

The Best Connection in Hereford is seeking a CNC Setter/Operator to join our growing team. The role requires setting and operating CNC machinery for turning, milling and threading, with a strong focus on reading engineering drawings and inspecting parts to tight tolerances.

Based in Hereford, this ongoing position offers a pathway to permanent employment after a successful trial. Expect early finish on Fridays and a supportive team environment with opportunities to grow your skills in Mazatrol

Qualifications

• Experience setting CNC machines and operating Mazatrol or Fanuc controls.
• Ability toread and understand engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC machines for turning, milling and threading.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure correct dimensions.
• Maintain and adjust machinery as needed.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards.

EARLY FINISH ON A FRIDAY. EVERY OTHER FRIDAY OFF

We are looking for a CNC SETTER/OPERATOR to join our growing team in HEREFORD. This is on-going work with the potential for a permanent position following a successful trial period.

The ideal candidate will have setting experience

Duties Include:

• Turning, Milling & Threading
• Experience of Mazatrol or Fanuc
• Operating & Setting Machinery
• Read & Understand Engineering Drawings

Shift:

• Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:30
• Friday 07:00-13:00
• Every other Friday off

Pay Rate:

• £14.00 per hour
• £21.00 per hour after standard weekly hours completed
