Job description

Our client based in East London is looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to strengthen their friendly growing team.

Joining a busy company in the print industry they are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role, with a can-do attitude who is a real team player.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and Run CNC machines
  • Use measuring equipment including running programs to check
  • Check components against drawings
  • Adjust cutter offsets to meet tolerances
  • Follow route card and make sure that quality standards are followed
Knowledge / Experience:
  • Good engineering background or educated within a mechanical engineering subject.
  • Ability to read dimensioned engineering drawings
  • Skilled in the use of: CNC Machinery, able to Set and Run CNC Machines
  • Ability to read dimensioned engineering drawings
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience
  • Some experience of general manual production machines.
Candidate Requirements:

Hours & Salary:

Hourly pay rate: £15.00 - £18.00ph dependent upon experience

Hours are Monday to Friday 12.00pm - 20.00pm, overtime and Saturdays can be available on occasion during busy periods, any weekend hours or hours over basic shift time are paid at x1.5.
