Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD is recruiting a CNC Programming Engineer for laser or punch machinery in Milton Keynes. The role involves programming, 3D CAD modelling, tooling input, and ensuring production-ready programs.

You will optimise material usage, mentor operators, and contribute to preventative maintenance and workflow efficiency at our Milton Keynes site.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CNC lasers or CNC punch/press machinery.
• Ability to draw 3D parts using CAD software.
• Based within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes.
• Good communications and problem solving skills.

Position: CNC Programming Engineer - Laser / Punch

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Depending on experience

Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in Milton Keynes, supplying precision engineering & metal fabricated parts to a range of including Automotive, Rail & Energy sectors. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team, who has experience in the programming of either CNC lasers or Punch / Press Machines.

Position Overview

• Programming laser cutting machines and CNC punch / presses (machine training provided)
• Creating 3D CAD models for production
• Providing advice on tooling requirements
• Checking programs and CAD models prior to production
• Optimising use of materials through nesting and programming
• Mentoring laser operators
• Preventative maintenance of machines and reducing set-up times
• Updating the MRP system with material requirments

Position Requirements

• Previous experience in the programming of either CNC Lasers or CNC Punch / Press Machinery
• Ability to draw 3D parts using CAD software
• Based in a commutable distance of Milton Keynes
• Good communications and problem solving skills

Position Remuneration

Salary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00. Friday 08:00 - 14:00.
