Job summary

A259 Recruitment is seeking an Experienced CNC Programmer/Setter in the UK to program, set and prove out components on high/low volume CNC machines with Fanuc controls. You will work from technical drawings to achieve exacting specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include programming, setting tooling, inspection, and collaboration with the stores for material readiness. Manual machine work may be required on occasion, ensuring safety and cleanliness of the shop.

Qualifications

• Experience of Milling and Turning, including Programming and Setting using Fanuc controls is essential.
• Ability to understand and follow technical drawing.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machinery and set tooling for scheduled jobs.
• Produce components from one-off to large batches with high precision.
• Carry out self-first off and final inspection of components.
• General machine maintenance and housekeeping in the shop.
• Assistance with fixtures, cleaning and packing of finished components.
• Ensure health and safety for yourself and others.
