They are seeking talented CNC Programmers, Setters and Operators (Turning) to join their skilled and highly-developed workforce. Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating Sliding head OR Fixed head CNC lathes
• Working from technical drawings and specifications with minimum supervision
• Upholding exceptionally high-standards of quality control and assurance
• Maintaining an appreciation for manufacturing best practices, working with efficiency and economy, ensuring cost and waste is minimised
• Maintaining a clean, functional and safe workspace
• Being vigilant to Health and Safety practices and protocols
• Ensuring any issues are escalated to supervision or above without delay
• Upholding the standards and ethos of welcoming, inclusive and supportive team environment

What you'll need

• The ability to build CNC Programmers from scratch OR the ability to edit / modify existing programmes
• Experience setting and operating bar-fed, sliding head and / or fixed CNC Lathes
• Able to work to exceptionally tight tolerances
• The ability to read and apply highly technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent knowledge of FANUC controls
• Proficient in precision measuring instruments and devices
• Knowledge of ISO9001 (desirable)
