A well-established manufacturer in Keighley is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter. This role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC mills and/or lathes in a modern engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have proven CNC machining experience and confident programming skills. CNC Programmer/Setter

A well-established manufacturer in Keighley is looking to expand its team with an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter. With upcoming retirements creating opportunities, this is a chance to step into a hands-on role within a modern, forward-thinking engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC mills and/or lathes
• Working from SOPs and detailed engineering drawings
• Conducting self-inspection to uphold quality standards
• Recommending and supporting improvements to machining processes
• Supporting apprentices and upholding company values

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Proven experience in CNC machining (milling, turning, or both)
• Confident programming ability using Fanuc, Siemens 840D, or Heidenhain controls
• A sound understanding of Health & Safety, ISO9001:2015, and 5S principles
• A proactive, flexible attitude with strong communication skills

Success in the Role Will Be Measured By

• High “right first time” and on-time output
• Low NCR (Non-Conformance Report) rates
• Consistently strong housekeeping and 5S standards
