Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a CNC Programmer to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. You will create, optimize and validate CNC programs for precision components using CAM/CAD tools.

You will work from CAD models, translate drawings, select tooling and parameters, simulate toolpaths, and support setup and first-off inspections. You will collaborate with production, quality and engineering to improve processes and reduce cycle times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CNC programming experience.
• Proven PowerMILL CAM programming and simulation experience.
• Experience with Autodesk CAD/CAM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Produce and optimize CNC programs for milling operations to meet print specs and production targets.
• Use PowerMILL to generate and simulate toolpaths, ensuring efficient, collision-free programs.
• Use Autodesk software to work from CAD models and prepare files for CAM.
• Translate drawings and GD&T into accurate machining strategies.
• Select tooling, cutting parameters, feeds and speeds; revise programs based on material and process feedback.
• Simulate, test and troubleshoot programs on machines; support setup and first-off inspections.
• Collaborate with production, quality and engineering to improve processes and reduce cycle times.
• Maintain program documentation and revision control.
