Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a CNC Programmer (Milling or Turning) to join a Yeovil-based team. You will set up, operate, and program CNC machines, working on both milling and turning operations using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls. The role offers progression as the new team expands in-house.

Are you a CNC Programmer with experience on either milling machines or lathes, looking to join a stable and growing company, offering a static days-based role, with a great work life balance, and a small hard-working team?

This role is the first of a new team of CNC machinists, bringing production in-house. You will be part of the setting up of this team and the workshop, with clear lines of progression into senior roles as the team grows.

You will be programming with Fanuc and Heidenhain on new machinery, and operating both milling and turning machines.

Recently acquired and secured for the future, the company is now growing again. It has exciting contracts with major clients and plans to expand year on year while bringing more processes in-house.
