CNC Miller - Programmer / Setter / Operator

Actio Recruitment is proud to represent a well-established engineering firm in Southampton seeking a skilled CNC Miller with Heidenhain / Fanuc programming experience. This is a permanent, day-shift role.

Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Heidenhain or Fanuc‑controlled CNC milling machines to produce precision parts to tight tolerances. The role suits a proactive machinist with a strong understanding of engineering drawings and confident in full‑cycle machining.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming at the machine using Heidenhain or Fanuc controls
• Setting and operating multi‑axis machinery
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Conducting in‑process inspection using standard measuring equipment
• Maintaining quality standards and contributing to continuous improvement

Requirements

Hours & Package
