Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a CNC Programmer in Exeter to program, set and operate CNC milling machines and lathes on bespoke projects. The role offers overtime and excellent progression within a well-established engineering company.

You will interpret drawings, inspect components and ensure tight tolerances and safety standards are met, with regular Friday finish for early downtime.

Are you a CNC Programmer with experience working on Mills and lathes, looking to join a well-established people first engineering company where you will be working on bespoke exciting projects in a role offering lots of overtime to increase your earnings?

In this role, the successful CNC Programmer will program, set and operate CNC machinery, interpret engineering drawings, carry out dimensional inspections, and manufacture bespoke components to demanding tolerances while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

This role would suit a CNC Programmer or similar with experience operating mills and/or lathes looking for a varied position within a stable company with a well-equipped workshop who offer an early finish on a Friday.

The Role:

• Programming setting and operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to manufacture precision components
• Monday to Thursday 7:00 till 16:00 and 7:00 till 13:00 on Fridays
• Overtime x, up to 15 optional hours available per week

The Person:

• CNC Programmer or similar background
• Experience working within a precision engineering or heavy engineering environment
• Ability to work on both one-off/bespoke components and production runs would be advantageous
