About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD/CAM programming, with proven expertise in 2D and 3D modelling. You will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to ensure efficient and precise manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to produce accurate 2D and 3D models.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines when required to validate programs.
  • Collaborate with design engineers and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct test runs and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation of programs, tooling, and setup sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam, Fusion 360).
  • Strong understanding of 2D and 3D modelling techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of various CNC machines and controls (e.g., Fanuc).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
