Job summary

T&K Associates in Leicester have an exciting opportunity to join our client as a CNC Programmer on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic chance to join a hardworking, friendly team that is expanding and offers staff excellent training.

You will program CNC machines to create woodwork and acrylic displays using Alphacam, review drawings and conduct quality checks on finished programmes. Benefits include circa £30,000 per annum, 8:00am–4:30pm, 28 days holiday (rising to 33 with service), paid

Qualifications

• Must have CNC programming experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines to create woodwork and acrylic displays from drawings and visuals.
• Review technical drawings for accuracy.
• Conduct quality checks on finished programmes.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Perform other related tasks as required.

CNC Programmer Job Benefits;

• Circa £30,000 per annum depending on experience
• Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays rising to 33 days with length of service
• Paid overtime available after 37.5 hours paid at 1.5
• Company pension scheme

CNC Programmer Job Responsibilities;

• Working from technical drawings and from visuals
• Programming CNC machines to create woodwork and acrylic displays using Alphacam software
• Review technical drawings
• Conduct quality checks on finished programmes
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Any other associated task as required

CNC Programmer Person Specification;

• Must have CNC Programming experience
• Having SCM CNC machines experience is beneficial but not essential as training will be given
• Experience of Adobe Illustrator is useful but not essential
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
• Ability to work within a team or with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Adaptable in approach
• Willingness to learn
• Good communication skills in the English language
