Qualifications

I am pleased to be recruiting for a CNC Programmer who also has manual lathe operating experience for our Halesowen based client, one of the market leaders in the heavy engineering sector.

The successful CNC Programmer will have the following experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter
• Exposure to understanding and following basic CNC programs (Siemens preferred but not essential).
• Working from engineering drawings to plan out how to most effectively machine each component.
• Use of overhead cranes; training will be provided.
• Checking and inspection of own work at beginning, in process, and upon completion.
• Working to engineering drawings.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised apprenticeship or equivalent relevant experience.
• A logical and analytical approach.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently.
