CNC Production Supervisor / Cell Leader — Coventry

£15.24ph (rising after probation) • Day Shift • Permanent position

Gi Pro are proud to be working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for an experienced CNC Production Supervisor / Cell Leader to join their growing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong CNC knowledge and proven leadership or supervisory experience to take ownership of a busy department, driving performance, quality, and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting CNC operators
• Planning the workload and leading shift briefings
• Monitoring the machine output and efficiency
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding new staff
• Driving a strong safety culture and maintaining 5S/housekeeping standards
• Coordinating with the maintenance team to keep machinery in top condition

Person specification / Qualifications

• Strong background within a CNC machining environment
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets
• Experience in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Strong ability to work towards and meet key production targets under tight deadlines
• Comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety regulations
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
