A recruitment agency is seeking a (Folding) CNC Press Brake Setter/Operator for a client in Ferryhill. In this temp-to-perm role, you will be responsible for setting press brake machines, working as part of a team, and understanding engineering drawings. Applicants should have experience with hydraulic or mechanical presses, and the ability to work unsupervised is essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for (Folding) CNC Press Brake Setter/Operators, for a client located in Ferryhill. This is a Temp to Perm role. Working as part of a small team, ensuring the successful setting of press brake machines, within the scope of responsibility.

(Folding) CNC Press Brake Setter/Operator Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Working as a second person on press brake machines.
• Working to and understanding engineering drawings in both first and third angle projection.
• Working as part of a team, working through various jobs without assistance, setting tools and in process inspection.

(Folding) CNC Press Brake Setter/Operator Applicants:

• Have experience working on a Hydraulic or Mechanical presses.
• Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is essential in both first and third angle projection. Have the ability to work unsupervised is required.

Initially starting on dayshift for induction and training before moving onto a 2-shift rotation. Hourly rates:

Day Shift:

Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 12.30pm.

2-Shifts:

Monday to Thursday 2.30pm – 11pm and Friday 12.30pm – 7pm & Monday to Thursday 6am – 2.30pm and Friday 6am – 12.30pm.
