CNC Router Operator

Salary up to 35k DOE

I am working with a prestigious sign company who is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Operator as part of their enthusiastic team, due to a major investment and expansion within the company. The position will play a key role in assisting with the development of the company.

The successful applicant will have a strong understanding and experience of running a CNC router. In this role, you will set, operate and programme a 3‑axis flatbed CNC machine. Ability to read production drawings and set the operating programme to achieve the best results is a must. Working with aluminium, acrylic, foam PVC, polycarbonate, and aluminium composite materials. Alongside the CNC routers you will also be required to run the CNC waterjet and CNC laser cutter machines.

Experience with operating these machines is advantageous but not required as full training will be offered to operate and run these machines. With the CNC waterjet you will be working with aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel. The CNC laser cuts acrylics.

We are looking for: A self‑motivated and driven individual who wants to explore and push the capabilities of the equipment to further and enhance the signs we produce. To be able to work with other members of the production team in other areas of sign manufacture.
