Who we are looking for:

Unistrut is looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to support our continued growth.

What you’ll do:

• Set and Operate our CNC lathes and ancillary equipment
• Set up, program and operate twin spindle, multi-axis CNC turning centres.
• Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate
• Ensure machines are running to plan and achieves the production schedule
• Optimises process & cycle times.
• Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced
• Keep production and quality related records up to date
• Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
• Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Performs Other Duties as Assigned

• S -Zero Harm to yourself or your colleagues
• Q – Zero defective raw materials accepted into the premises
• D- All offloading of raw materials achieved in a timely manner
• C- Zero downtime for machines allocated to material waiting time

Hours of work:

39 hours per week, working a rotating shift pattern:

• Week 1: Monday - Thursday: 6am - 2pm & Friday: 6am - 1pm
• Week 2: Monday - Thursday: 2pm - 10pm & Friday: 1pm - 8pm
