Job summary

Hawk3 Talent Solutions is recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator / Setter / Programmer to join a precision engineering team in Nailsea, North Somerset. The role offers day shifts, early finish on Fridays, and a permanent contract.

Salary up to £36,000 with overtime and benefits. The successful candidate will interpret drawings, write toolpaths in FANUC, set up machines, and maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC milling, setting and programming.
• Ability to read and write FANUC programmes.
• Experience with Haas CNC mills is advantageous.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software preferred (Fusion 360 or OneCNC).

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Write and edit milling toolpaths using FANUC language.
• Set up CNC machinery, fixtures and tooling.
• Operate and set CNC mills (Haas preferred).
• Manufacture components to specs and tolerances.
• Inspect using quality methods.
• Maintain safe, clean workspace.
• Report issues with paperwork or programs.
