CNC Machine Operator (Horizontal Boring Experience Preferred)

📍 Location: Middlesbrough
💷 Pay: £14.22 per hour basic + shift uplifts
🕒 Shifts: 3‑shift rotating pattern (see below)

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our growing team. Ideally, you will have experience operating a horizontal boring machine, but full training can be provided for the right candidate with strong CNC machining experience.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator
• Experience with horizontal boring machines highly desirable
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Good understanding of machining processes and tooling
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable working a rotating shift pattern

Pay & Shift Pattern

Basic Pay: £14.22 per hour

• Earlies: ×1.17 (£16.63)
• Lates: ×1.25 (£17.78)
• Nights: ×1.33 (£18.91)

Rotating 3‑Week Shift Cycle

• Week 1 – Days: Wed, Thurs, Fri – 07:00‑19:00
• Week 2 – Nights: Mon, Tues, Wed – 19:00‑07:00
• Week 3 – Mixed:
  • Days: Mon & Tues – 07:00‑19:00
  • Nights: Thurs & Fri – 19:00‑07:00
