Job summary

A precision engineering company in the Greater London area is seeking a skilled CNC Operator. In this role, you will operate VMC and 4/5 Axis CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production while adhering to strict standards. Candidates should have prior experience with CNC operations, especially with Fanuc systems, and demonstrate mechanical dexterity and attention to detail. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards is also highly desirable. This position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment focused on precision manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Operator ideally using Fanuc.
• Excellent attention to detail and mechanical dexterity with small precision parts.
• Strong problem identification and rectification skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and comprehend geometric tolerancing.
• Good working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate company's VMC and 4/5 Axis CNC machines.
• Perform First Off checks, ensuring dimensional quality and amend machine settings.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Operating any of the company's VMC and 4 or 5 Axis CNC machines
• Performing First Off`s, checking dimensional quality & amending machine settings in pursuit of component design requirements
• Operating to an acceptable production target while maintaining a high standard of quality where 'right-first-time' is paramount
• Setting up and operating all types of manual machining equipment, covering milling, turning, grinding and marking processes
