Overview

Linkster Recruitment is representing a leading company in the manufacturing industry that is currently seeking experienced CNC Milling Operators to join their team in Coventry on a permanent basis. Responsibilities

• Continuing the production of parts and making necessary adjustments to tooling and wear offsets to ensure machines operate efficiently.
• Carrying out inspections using CMM programs set by inspection and utilising gauges, verniers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Maintaining clean and tidy workstations while producing high-quality work that adheres to agreed specifications.
• Promoting teamwork by maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues.

Experience / Qualifications

• Time-served or equivalent experience in a precision machining company.
• Familiarity with Heidenhain controls (preferable but not essential) and the ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail, a flexible mindset, and the ability to be a team player.

Shift Patterns

• Permanent Days: Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30, and Friday 07:30 - 12:30
• Permanent Nights: Monday - Thursday, 18:00 - 06:00

Benefits

• Salary for an Operator is negotiable up to £14.00 per hour basic depending on experience.
• Night shift pays additional shift allowance of £2.00 per hour.
• Overtime is available and paid at 1.33x rate.
• Permanent /full time role.
